What is INP+ ?
Welcome to INP+ |
|
|
 is a social movement by and for People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) in enforcing the recognition for Human Rights of PLHIV in India . INP+ has waged a long and intensive struggle against fear, ignorance, prejudice and despair born out of the epidemic and stood to represent courage, insight, acceptance and hope to hundreds and thousands of People Living with HIV/AIDS.
The movement support PLHIV to form self help groups from the bottom up and foster bonding with intra- and intercommunity groups to gain strength and support.
The members include besides PLHIV, people from diverse orientation and marginalized sections of the society – MSM (Men having Sex with Men), IDU (Injecting Drug Users), Sex workers etc. The membership is open to all Indians living with HIV irrespective of gender, caste, religion etc.

Support groups for people living with HIV
People in India have come together to form support groups to provide face and voice to the epidemic. Visiting the local support group for people living with HIV.
- Will help you to know and understand the epidemic
- Will help you to address the needs of People Living with HIV in a better way.
- You can invite people living with HIV to share their life experience which will help reduce the stigma in your corporation
- Help them to help you.
If you are HIV positive it is good to join a support group to learn more about living with HIV and enhancing the quality of your life
